About us.
We originally met in New York City. Dave was managing a comedy venue and Jae was working for a non-profit that rented the space. We like to remember the moment that Dave offered Jae the “little green box” which was a technical support, but allowed us to interact directly after looking at each other from across the room for a couple of weeks. Although we loved our time in NYC, we have also had the opportunity to travel across the country mid-pandemic and land in the Seattle area. During those transitionary months, we spent time in Wisconsin with Dave’s family and Pennsylvania with Jae’s.
We cherish those moments spent with our loved ones and dream of expanding our family through adoption.

About Jae
Jae grew up in PA and lived in New York City for 15 years but has now relocated to the Eastside of Seattle, WA. She works as an art therapist for all ages in her private practice and before that worked for art museums in their education and public programs, offering tours and workshops for visitors to better understand the visual arts.
Jae has always loved art-making, as well as spirituality. She studied theology and studio art at college and has a masters degree in Art Therapy and Creative Development. She enjoys filling our home with colorful and happy things, putting together puzzles and spending time with our two dogs, sitting on the back porch or in the yard, taking in the (limited!) Seattle sunshine! When looking back on her own childhood, Jae remembers a life filled with loving community and music, especially piano playing and singing. Jae is hoping to offer these types of experiences to a child one day.
